A heads up for a couple of competitions coming up:

Celtic Brew-off entries are due this Thursday, April 12. All the English/ Scottish/ Irish styles are accepted. If you have any that qualify, send them in! The comp is sponsored by KOBB, and the awards will be held at the Celtic festival on May 5. http://www.celticbrewoff.com/

Right after that, the last Club Only Competition of the COC season features category 9 Scottish & Irish ales. This one is sponsored by KOBB as well. Post here if you have a beer that qualifies... we'll have a decision panel in early May to select the club's candidate.

If memory serves me, it looked as though early June was good for everyone for a Flanders brew day. Is that still true now that everyone has had a chance to recover from Bluebonnet and check their schedules?

Since May looks a little busy, what about if we aimed for the first or second Sunday in May?

Celtic festival is the first weekend in May, and Megabrew is the last... we've got a couple of weekends in between that we may be able to work with, though June is pretty open. I could do either, I think. Any thoughts from others on schedule?

As I recall, that's correct. Perhaps we can nail down the Frankenstein plans during Bluebonnet... might be a fun thing to discuss in the hospitality room.
