For our first time to enter the NHC as a club we had two of the horsemen advance beers to the second round. Stacy Myers and Matt Morriss advanced with a Roggenbier for Stacy and for Matt a Schwartzbier and a Scottish Strong. With three quality entries and some stiff competition ahead we were hopeful but unsure. Well on Saturday at the awards ceremony we found that Stacy Myers won a first place gold medal in the German Wheat and Rye Category for his Roggenbier! Congrats Stacy!!!
